Feel free to update it daily, or I will try to remember to do it...either way is fine! The MAC schools are (obviously) in bold. 115 days to go until the first "real" Saturday in college football! :-)

130. UAB
129. Texas State
128. Buffalo
127. New Mexico State
126. UNC-Charlotte
125. UMass
124. Georgia State
123. Fresno State
122. Kent State
121. UConn
120. Illinois
119. Kansas
118. Cincinnati
117. Utah State
116. Akron
115. Coastal Carolina
114. UTEP
113. UNLV
112. Idaho
111. Temple
110. Rice
109. Iowa State
108. Louisiana-Lafayette
107. Tulane

Shoot the AAC has 2 in the bottom 10 and 4 I'm the bottom 23....yikes

Is it possible that even fans of the AAC don't know who is in that conference, or am I missing a team?

I have been trying to figure out the exact same thing! lol

Well from the list that is showing (I am not going to do an actual count so I am just going to assume, shame on me, that the list is the number quoted)the AAC has UConn, CIncy, Temple, and Tulane.

Right, but I was questioning who the other team is the bottom 10 other than UConn.

yeah, but the top of the AAC is really good. Not a lot of separation between the G5 leagues in football.

I think Ohio will be better than that. Certainly a game that as a Rocket fan I am concerned about...

I am curious to see where the MAC's top team comes in, whomever that may be...one would think that after WMU's success last season and Toledo's flirting with the access bowl spot the season before, our best/better teams may have gained some traction in a (albeit worthless) pre-season countdown...

Ohio beat Toledo in 2016. They are not due to beat you again until 2044.

I think this confusion is aimed at me. Sorry I thought Cincinnati was in the bottom 10. Bottom 13. My bad. I suck at math and counting backwards

Weird. Five teams from the bottom and all are MAC East. And fmr. MAC East, UMass is up there also.

I don't know and apparently the Orlando paper doesn't know the weakest MAC West team.

Should be interesting to see how both MIA and EMU come in as two teams both of which had turnaround seasons last year.

So is the Orlando paper, unofficially, picking Miami to be in the MACC game???

It's off-putting seeing a team that competed down to the wire in the Championship Game ranked 101.

I guess, looking at the schedule, I could predict 4 wins.

tell me about it! I was quite shocked when I saw that we were ranked #101. but, then again, it's one guy's opinion...one guy from Florida who doesn't really follow the MAC that much I would bet. we'll see what happens!

My guess is that the Orlando paper doesn't know Miami U from U Miami, thinks Bowling Green is in Kentucky, confuses Akron with the rapper Akon, and is pretty sure NIU had a nice run in the NCAA basketball tournament last year with a victory over North Carolina.

Given that Central Florida once played MAC football, there is probably more familiarity with the MAC in Orlando than in the rest of the South.

RE: 2017 Orlando Sentinel College Football Rankings
a quick end-of-the-work-week rundown by conference as of today:

Sun Belt has 8 of the 33 teams listed.
Conference USA has 6 of the 33 teams listed.
American, MAC, and Mountain West each have 5 of the 33 teams listed.

Of the Power 5 conferences, the Big 12 has 2 teams, the Big Ten has 1.

Most years Ohio is overrated so maybe underrated this year.
