Senate may not vote on Trumpcare until 2018
That's what my brother is reporting in California after talking to some very influential politicians out there. They probably are going to wait until after the 2018 midterm elections to bring it up in a vote. And McConnell is going to add a female to the team working on the bill so it's not all men.

There are very few Republicans in California, so that sounds like Democrats wishful thinking. Like the Republicans are really going to want to tackle it in an election year.

If they wait until after the mid-terms, many of them will probably be waiting at home.

Yeah that's not happening. Now maybe the Senate can't pass it that's certainly possible, but they aren't going to just table it.

He's won more than 200 political journalism awards. How many have you won? The person who told him the information I mentioned was Dianne Feinstein.

He's absolutely more liberal than me - no two ways around it. Some of his tweets and texts are way over the top. But his followers eat it up and want more of them I guess. If he's wrong about 2018, so be it. He predicted back in November an easy Clinton win and she would get something like 370 electoral votes and maybe 58-59 percent of the popular vote? I told him I didn't think that was the case at all as soon as he went with his predictions.

SO, someone pimping fake news is saying the senate will table it until 2018. I guess Hillary is still going to win Georgia too.

There are more Republicans in California than most any other state except for Texas. California is a very big state.

Even Diane has gone a little over the cliff at times. Wishful thinking on her part.

Very few elected officials.

Very few elected officials in LA County and the Bay Area. There are plenty of elected Republican officials from Ventura County to Riverside up through the San Joaquin Valley all the way to the Oregon border.

California has 14 Republican members of the House of Representatives. That trails only Texas (25) and Florida (16).
