FAU... French Athletic Union. They surrender at the drop of a hat, or bat in this case.

Hey if you USM fans are board just make sure you guys post on the forum about some game you won 20 years and use that to support why you are so high and mighty for C-USA.
You biatchez are pathetic little runny nose non athletic transplants that wish you had something to talk about. We have accomplished something that FUKU will never dream of in your life time.

Wow big 3-0 for you had to get lucky to beat FAU's worst pitching team in 5 years.

Congrats on your quick exit where ever you end up playing a regional.
Beats not BEING IN A REGIONAL....04-rock

Hey! I'll also give you congrats when your school, in a huge metro area with 35,000 students, can one day average 10,000 REAL BUTTS IN THE SEATS FOR A FOOTBALL GAME! 03-lmfao
When are USM fans going to realize they are just the 45 year old still wearing their letterman jacket telling everyone how good they used to be and how these kids just didn't face the guys they faced.

Don't want to talk about the past? Ok, let's talk present.

In the four years that FAU has shared a conference with USM:
USM: 2 bowl games, 1 division title
FAU: nada.

And I'm a La Tech fan. If I'm defending SoPiss, you know you've said something stupid.

When Florida Atlantic actually becomes relevant, then come talk to us.

(P.S. To other FAU fans, I have nothing against your school, but this moron needs to stop)

Lol - agree.

I always thought it was Florida Alternative University. That would explain some things.

Geez what a shitshow. I've never seen some mild trash talking between players in a baseball game get someone so bent out of shape before.

They just poached Middle Tennessee's crackerjack fundraiser from the Blue Raider Athletic Association this past week. Congrats to the Owls!

A shitshow indeed. This thread has gotten ridiculous. A single FAU fan has managed to get under the skin of almost every USM poster on here. Let it go fellas, the dude was clearly upset after 2 tough losses and just wanted to take it out on someone. Let's not take his comments personal.

Just FYI, he has made these same comments previously. On at least one other occasion he proceeded to bash not only USM but also Tech and any other school that has played football for a long time, saying we would never amount to more than we already had, and that FAU would soon leave us all in the dust. This isn't just him being frustrated over a lost series.

No the issue is you guys seem to blame your problems and the conferences on the new schools to the conference. You have this salty attitude that you are still here and feel you deserve something more.
My frustration come from all the knocks on FAU from just a small sample size of a football program who has made a couple bad hires at coach (Any school in this conference is bad hire away from 5-7 years of being bad). You talk about our small fan base and I see a school that has only undergrad since 1988 and FBS football for 11 years yet is expected to be at the same level as a school that has played football for over 100 years. Asking us why we don't have 20k at game in the 3rd season of 3-9 football is like me asking you why you don't have 70k at games at this point.

FAU has done everything you could ask a new school to a conference to do in order to raise the profile other then win on the field. We will have the top facilities to go along with a beautiful stadium, attracted major donors, shown that we are willing to spend on a big name coach, and throw in a president that will jump through hoops in order to put a winning product on the field The wins will come in one way or another all the pieces are in place.

Like I said many times before USM and La Tech fans just come off as the older brother who still lives in his mom's basement who just tells everyone how they used to tare it up back in the day and the only thing left is to pick on the younger brother for not being as cool as him.

I think he just used it to fire up himself and the team. Like a coach getting ejected on purpose. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It did this time.

Also, Burdeaux is 6-4 225. He had several D1 football scholarship offers as a LB out of high school. TCU was one of them. I don't think he was worried too much about whether his team was around him.

Remembered this post when I just read this article. Yea, I think Dylan could handle anything Owlboy's team could bring at him.

lol it's all about winning on the field! you guys drag the rest of us down. WKU could probably not win another conference title for the next 10 years and you still wouldn't be able to catch us and the owls even had a year head start 03-lmfao

FAU has done everything you could ask a new school to a conference to do in order to raise the profile other than win on the field.

Try doing that FIRST!
