I'm not trying to tell you what to do....but we have our own forum where we talk amongst ourselves. LOL....just messing with you. You can tell things are getting slow everywhere. Here in Arkansas we are pretty much watching rivers rise and fall. Flooding has wrecked my trout fishing. Shooting range is all muddy, etc. Picking on you guys is all I got today!!

We haven't been able to do much fishing in Boone either, though the flooding hasn't been anywhere near as bad as it has out your way. The mountain bike trails are muddy too! 03-banghead

Woe is us !!!

I'd rather see Evans at running back. This offense isn't great for wide receivers getting touches through the air and I feel like he will be severely under utilized.

Our offense can be very good for WRs. However the last couple of years our WRs have had trouble creating the separation required to get them the ball. Given Evans speed and size i believe you'll be surprised this season.

Meadors, Jones, Letman and Lewis have good spreed, but with the 40 times of these young guys we ought to be able to stretch the field better. Plus the staff is extremely high on the two incoming freshmen. Jake Henry (offered by Troy, Marshall, So Miss and WKU) is is an absolute flyer, while Thomas Hennigan (Virginia, Navy, Army, UNCC, Miami OH and several Ivy league schools - can you say smart) is a bigger posession guy who will go over the middle.

6-2 210 RS Freshman WR Jalen Virgil 4.27.
5-11 190 Soph WR Darrynton Evans 4.38 with a 36.5" vertical.
6-4 200 Soph WR Mock Adams ran a 4.43 with a 35" vertical.

And we will still run the ball 35-45 times a game, which is fine. Receivers aren't going to put up big numbers in this offense, or at least until it becomes a better option to pass rather than run.

I wish we were playing you guys, because our #1 and #2 are arguably the best in the belt. Would have loved to have settled in on the field.

For the rest of you, get ready for "J-Time" Jamarius Henderson. He's a Memphis transfer and may be the best running back I've ever seen at Troy.

We heard the same thing about Chunn last year too.

16 carries for 51 yards against the Red Wolf defense.

Color me unimpressed.

I'd put LA Ramsby and Wesley Fields up against any duo in the conference. Both guys could make NFL rosters when their times come.

The numbers don't tell the story because our offensive coaches made our good OL including our Remington watch list center and our freshman All-America honorable mention left tackle look like 20th-team all-Sun Belt linemen.

And made the guy who was on pace to lead the FBS all time in YPC before last season averaged less than 4 yards per carry.

We will see how good App is this season. With its schedule, it should have an opportunity to run away with SBC title. And that being said, A-State will be the one crowned.
