Full steam ahead on the facilities master plan as well as cost of attendance for NIU student athletes. This should excite all NIU fans and hopefully, now that donations can be made directly to the facility plan, people will be willing to give whatever they can. This is very good news.

I think it's a cool idea they have to put admissions/financial aid/registrar in the new east side of Huskie Stadium.

I wonder if they waited to launch this until they had a few birds in-the-hand?

Total cost of all the projects is just a bit over $100 million, which in this day and age is not unreasonable.

Probably not but how long will it take to raise that kind of money? In the last decade we've only been able to build two facilities at a cost of $23.5 million. At that pace of fundraising it will take us 40 years to build all these facilities.

Where will $100 million come from? The big trio of Yordon, Chessick, and Barsema? Corporations who up to now have not stepped up?

All I've heard is whispers and rumors. Nothing concrete. Still probably interesting message board fodder, but I don't like sharing things I don't 100% know myself to be true

Apparently Kill made a couple modest donations Saturday night and said he'd give a lot more to a stadium renovation. I'm sure it wouldn't be millions but every bit helps.

On this topic we'll take anything we can get.

Just be nice to know if the Company Sponsorship/Naming rights is close.....I think an announcement like that would be huge to get others emotionally (and of course monetarily) engaged.

If that's the case I regret the anger and the hatred I spewed against him when he took both coordinators and left us so shorthanded for the Potato Bowl. I thought he really hated NIU, and obviously he doesn't.
