Carver is playing the 4 and came here as a freshman. And if you aren't counting him, (which is weird but whatever) you need to add freshman as a qualifier in that sentence. Otherwise, you are overlooking Porter, Brandan Stith, Painter, Arledge, Biberaj and Vassor.

Or define "successfully recruit". I'll give you Carver, but he is rather undersized for a 4.

There were discussions that a couple people dominated and they lasted about a week during football season.

For someone who thinks they know literally every single thing about sports, it is odd that you are so fervently hitching your wagon to a coach who has been mediocre at best for 20 plus years, and who is seemingly going into a territory, in terms of contracts, that only coaches who are on the verge of being fired see.

There is plenty of reason to complain.

Wood's baseball hire looks good now but has yet to make an NCAA tourney. Barefoot was an abject failure. Jones as of right now is a failure. The field hockey coach has overseen a significant regression.

Wood has struggled mightily with his hires. As I said, there's reason to complain.

There is plenty of reason to complain.

Good one, but I am pretty sure we don't even have a quorum of athletic boosters on here. Just the same old gang, with same arguments. It gets tired after a while

Karl Smesko from FGCU is my top choice to bring the women back to prominence. But he just turned down a $400k (equivalent of about $280k here) offer from USC.
