Mary Poppins and Peter Pan could take lessons from him. We could take lessons from those who take it with a grain of salt.
He probably has horrible nightmares about what happened in the last three weeks.04-bow

That's cool. You can trust him. He also told us last year that we'd be a postseason team and compete for conference titles in season 1. Ill believe it when I see it now and will will be happily surprised if it does.

I think Cal did a pretty good job of it in that Elite 8 right before he left for KY. Notice how he did not make a single adjustment and Missouri kept running the exact same play over and over....

He benches them. And that does not appear to have happened.

But I didn't see players say "screw it, I'm not going out like this" like Evans and the others did. What did these players do?

RE: Tubby's Press Conference Quotes About Expectations for Next Year - Your Input
So many rumors floated around and still floating--everything from Tubby inherited a situation that was toxic, to Tubby insulted the dad of his starters.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. There are no opposite sides..more like 4 big ones, with 360 degrees of slightly varying angles.

The thing that keeps coming back to haunt me over and over are the results in the last 7 games--including the worse loss since 1947.

Maybe y'all turned off the teevee...I didn't. I watched till the end, when a Tiger player ( I think it was Kessee) hit a three in last few secs of one of those monstrosities...lol

Heck, if the guys had quit on Tubby..why did he keep starting the same guys over and over... when they had supposedly quit on him.

OK. It really could go either way at this point. That's the truth. The odds are not good it will go the way most of any of us want. That's the truth too.

Go Tigers.

Only one guy is getting paid 3 mil a year to make sure things go right.
Where does 3 mil a year stack up to the other 351 coaches in div 1 basketball?

Not to mention your guy who got paid 10.7 million and failed to get passed the second round of the tournament. Get over yourself and go cheer for the Vols.

Who is my guy? If you are trying to insinuate Pastner, I would suggest you go back and look at my posts. I thought Pastner was an awful headcoach.

Bull shite.
So you are saying Cal did make adjustments to stop that curl to the basket that Missouri ran over and over and over and over all game long? I mean, I guess you could say that but it would be an outright lie.

I have a sneaking suspicion that PL is a former Cal bag man. He still carries a torch for him, and sure does like to talk about funding things alot....

Any outside elements/influences have been removed. These will be his players, loyal to him... and his staff, loyal to him. Almost no carryover from previous regimes. This is HIS baby now. And as it should be, IMO.

Actually, that makes me want to count this coming season as the FIRST season of the rebuild.

I'm down with that.

At this moment, coach talk. No one can have any expectation of a top 4 team in the AAC next year at this moment. There are too many new guys who haven't played together or at this level before. Perhaps they can gel together and a few of the jucos are stars....but you can't honestly assume that to happen yet.

I know. The coach wasn't out on the floor giving a half-ass effort, but the players were.
