Good work, Turn. I read parts of that thread and the level of grandiosity being displayed by those posters should be studied by psychiatrists and sociologists. It really is amazing how insane some of them come across. But groupthink will do that sometimes.

I think the P6 narrative over there is a lot like Flat Earth theorists. There's a lot who are just having fun spouting off to troll but there's plenty more that actually believe it.

Once the GOR expires in a few years and the Big 12 is picked apart, they will infill with teams from the AAC... ECU might not make the cut (I think '][' gets in over them). Throw in JMU for an even 10 or keep it at 9. I count 7 decent Bball programs, 5 football. How likely? Probably slim to none, but since everybody has an opinion on the subject I figured I'd through mine in

ECWho will never make the cut when it comes to being in a Power conference. A lot of older ECWho fans think that VA Tech stole their place in the BE when it started football in 1991. It didn't happen then. Then in 2003 Terry Holland banned all NQers unless they were from the state of NC to hopefully attract interest from the BE that was about to get raided from the ACC and lose Boston College, VA Tech and Miami. No dice there either. Then the last realignment seen Syacuse, Pitt and Louisville from the BE take off to the ACC. And still no BE interest.

ECWho took a spot, the last spot in the AACk as a football only member at 1st, one because no one wanted their crappy basketball and other Olympic sports they suck at. Only after the orig BE basketball members rejected Houston, Tulane, the U_F twins and others was ECWho then given a full spot.

Most of them over there not only believe it, but fully embrace it which only makes them look that much more pathetic. They will all be in for a rude awakening when their TV contract comes up. That's when some of them may fall back down to earth.
