Bower -vs- Collins = 14-7 Wow. Zero buzz. That can't be good.

RE: Spring scrimmage
Every few years I go to the spring game to remind myself why I don't go to the spring game.

This was not one of those years.

Kind of like the gas station burrito.

You have to eat one to remind yourself why they suck so much.

Did Collins give out hams?

there's a reason for that....

we're gonna miss Mullens.............but many of us already knew that....

the offense has their work cut out for them going into september......

to be optimistic, a lot of things can happen between now and then developing our starting qb....

to be fair, it is only april....

RE: Spring scrimmage
so the defense didnt give any 70-80 yard runs up the gut to Ito or Tez. i guess thats a positive.

any stats on the QBs?

EDIT - this article addresses most all of that.

So, what you are saying is we will be thrilled, once again, with the opportunity to finish 7 - 6.

beats the hell out of 0-12, 1-11, 2-10, 3-9, 4-8, etc....

naw....what I'm saying is we'll find out how things develop over the course of the year and will have an idea starting in september if we have a qb that we can count on over the course of an entire game/season....

I've never understood the bs you present with that assumptive posit....any winning season is a positive....ask any lower tier school.....

IMO, a major part about being a fan is watching how the team develops.....

I only like to be a fanatical ***** when/after I see it happen...

RE: Spring scrimmage
Live 3 hours away, so certainly don't go to the spring game. From what I heard it's about what you expect when you dived a team and hold out anyone who is even close to hurt. That said, I think the team will look better than I had realisticly hoped for next year in the areas of question: Oline, safety. and Dline. The only area still in question for me is QB. Looks like Griggs has the lead and is doing okay. If he can continue to cut down on mistakes we could have a decent season. I think will be a building season for us unless Griggs puts it together. That said, I am very pleased that the Oline is coming together better than I expected. Just might have to rely on Ito and Parks (who looks real good) to carry the load.

Was told that currently PawPaw is not on the team.

There are conditions to be met and he may return.

We shall see what happens.

Hope it's not like the Anthony Alford veer: as long as we had 3rd and 2 or 1, or if we got a first down ON first down, we wuz OK.....but might as well have brought out the punter on 3rd and 8 or longer..

You need a scrambler these days to get you the tough 3rd and longs with their feet when the original play call starts to disintegrate...but not sure if our'n will get sacked, fumble or throw the INT to cause further disintegration..03-lmfao

IF (yes "IF", BDR) one of these guys can be a play-maker and game-changer, we will be tough------>IF IF IF IF 04-cheers

This is correct. He told Hopson to "go back to Alcorn".
