Question Rice @ WKU Game 2
Rice blowing it out in T2. Myers' 3 run homer makes it 7-0.

No let up. Keep the pedal on the metal. Let's clinch our first series victory of the season today, and get the much-needed sweep tomorrow.

RE: Rice @ WKU Game 2
In the bottom of the 2nd, Canterino more efficient, getting a 1-2-3 inning. Heading to top of 3rd, up 7-0. Canterino issued two walks in the first (no damage), although the Rice dugout disagreed with the strike zone, apparently, as the ump had words with the dugout (although not an official warning)

Also worth noting a nice 2 run single by Tristan in that inning. His timing is clearly locked in now.

Leadoff triple by Sheppard! Once again, he's just a few inches short of a home run...

Wonder if the wind is blowing out. I'm pretty sure their cool front is more significant than our cool front.

Even with the 3 BBs, Canterino has been much more efficient than usual-- he's only thrown 57 pitches through 4 innings. We really need him to go into at least the 7th inning to save the bullpen for tomorrow.

On the negative side, we're suddenly striking out like crazy-- against lousy pitching. 11 Ks yesterday, and already 8 Ks today through just 5 innings.

Matt's control issues results in a run in the 6th inning-- walk, infield single, HBP and fielders choice plates one. 6.0 IP, 2 hits, 1 run, 4 BBs, 1 HBP, 6 Ks. Good guys lead 9-1 after back-to-back doubles by Chandler and Sarchet in top of the 6th.

Ultra efficient 5-pitch, 1-2-3 inning for Matt in the B7. He's now up to 91 pitches, and I'd expect him to at least start the 8th inning. 9-1 good guys.

10-5 on a Sac foul ball (according to Gametracker). Don't see that every day.

Well, you knew Matt was getting close to hitting the wall. Why Jefferies in a 9-1 game in the 9th inning? Again, I just don't get The OG's bullpen management this year....at all.
