I really think this is toxic post with no real value. Why start rumors with very little basis?

Don't listen to him Randy. I'm bored as heck stuck at home waiting on hernia surgery. Any NIU football talk is good. Plus, randy has the benefit of the doubt. You know there's a decent chance this will happen. Anyone in this room who had some pertinent news would be hard pressed to withhold it. As long as it's not in violation of program rules, have fun with it.

It's Huff isn't it? Mister moves into Bouganon's role as the grinder, and Harbison takes over for Huff. Carey gets rid of his bad apple and keeps his pride. Total Carey move.

I get a kid wanting to leave after one or two seasons after high school, but waiting till your senior year in college? Doesn't make much sense.

Huff didn't start as a sophomore or junior so I don't think it's him based on Randy's note.

The only positions slightly crowded where someone would be asked to transfer would be Running Back or DB .

He started some games though. So not technically THE starter, he was A starter. Just looking at places with depth and starter competition. QB, RB and Safety come to mind first. Maybe Bobby Jones at LB

He had signed his release but now I'm hearing from a couple players that he may be back looks like he may have accepted his punishment for what he had done and maybe getting a second chance well actually a third in his case but hey welcome back Spencer

Yea I'm hoping it's not him but then again I don't want to lose anybody that's been a starter.

There's really not anyone on this team who's departure would change this teams fortunes. Not yet anyway.

What do you consider a useful purpose? Do you think some discussions here help Carey devise game tactics? It's a Messgae board for BSing. People BSed. Mission accomplished. Nothing toxic. No player is being outed for doing wrong. It's been clearly stated it's just a rumor. It's just for fun. Do you feel no rumor should ever be discussed? You can make a new thread called "super serious fact based discussions based on multiple sourced undeniable accounts".

It's of interest to try and determine which position could afford that kind of move and what player would be susceptible to falling that far down the depth chart. There's not many players who fill the criteria. Half have already been eliminated. If it was just any player who might transfer and that's all the info given, pfffff, what ever. I know some of you hold a grudge against Randy, but hes been right enough that this might happen. It's freakin May, its called filler.
