Wow.... Randy, can you confirm? Heard he was taking practice much more serious this year and was locked in. Wonder what happened

This happened today so I'm not sure anyone will verify this early. What happened was an extremely careless act on his part that warranted his expulsion.

RE: Spencer Tears
I heard this too but it sounds to me like there are steps he could take to get reinstated so we shall see.

The Cliff Notes version:

-I'd rather not say what it was but Tears did something really dumb that made him and the team look like idiots.

-He was confronted by Coach Carey and told to take corrective measures or be off the team.

-He chose the latter, which means he did two incredibly dumb things this week.

Once everyone calms down I believe he could take the corrective measures and get back but like I said, we'll see.

sometimes it is just a cumulative effect as well. I do not think spencer was ever happy at NIU he was not playing and felt he should have been a star and this spring was not looking any different for him.

But I am curious if that's why Huskie Bowl format was changed....?

RE: Spencer Tears
Last year it's not surprising he didn't play much with Golladay and Turner out there, this year it seemed like the WR spots would be pretty wide open. I wonder what that says, if anything about either Tears or the WR depth this year.

So far no one has provided proof he did anything. No one on this board and no one on the team. Can we for once just let something play out before trashing a player?

I know exactly what happened and he has been dismissed and signed his scholarship release and will be going to a new school. you all will know what school when you stumble on it someday .

No one is trashing anyone. He made a mistake and is paying for it. He will find another team and I hope he gets it together. As far as the wr core he was playing out wide behind Blake at the moment. Not sure it says anything about him or our depth at WR it just is what it is .

Ashame to because he was starting to see the field at the end of the season more. Didn't someone say that Weasley hasn't been playing either? Depth is going down quickly.
