After the leadership is executed, Koreans should hang them upside down with piano wire

If you thought German reunification was challenging, Korean reunification would be much, much harder. Besides, China would not allow its border currently occupied by a pawn Commie state to suddenly be occupied by a defense-treaty ally of the United States.

Yeah, the only way NK will falls is, imo, if it's military turns on the govt. Even that is far fetched given the brainwashing and murder that goes on though.

If NK is stupid enough to attack Japan or the US ... I would hope that would allow us to get in there and kill KJ-u and all his cohorts. Of course, like others mentioned, would probably have to be in partnership with China.

It would, IMO, have to be China or an inside job. The aftermath would have to be worked out beforehand as well. No way in Hades China wants 24 million refugees streaming across its border, etc.

They (the civilians trapped in NK) wouldn't have to leave, once the NK state is abolished and SK extends its democracy to cover the country.
Could open NK up to global tourism, setup museums of the communist ruling era, let people finally see NK and visit, etc.

North Korea and China has more to fear from Japan than the US.
Trust me China nor North Korea wants Japan to feel like they are backed into a corner.
How? Japan has a defense force.
I don't think they have long range missiles of their own that can do any real damage to NK
They don't right now but they might soon. Thats my point they don't want a Japan with offensive weapons. China and Korea have always been Japan's whipping boys throughout history.

RE: Will the United States attack North Korea?
Most recent threat from NK
Quote:North Korean state media warned the United States of a “super-mighty preemptive strike” after US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the United States was looking at ways to bring pressure to bear on North Korea over its nuclear program.
US President Donald Trump has taken a hard line with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who has rebuffed admonitions from sole major ally China and proceeded with nuclear and missile programs in defiance of UN Security Council sanctions.
The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the North’s ruling Workers’ Party, did not mince words.
“In the case of our super-mighty preemptive strike being launched, it will completely and immediately wipe out not only US imperialists’ invasion forces in South Korea and its surrounding areas but the US mainland and reduce them to ashes,” it said.

I have a bad feeling it is going to end abruptly and violently for the Nk's. The nation and leadership is so isolated from the real world that they have no real clue how dangerous of a game they are playing. I think fatboy really believes he can carry out his threats and destroy the West. He is totally clueless. That makes him totally dangerous.

Meh.....I don't think that's as big of a concern for the Chinese as it would have been several decades ago. As the last of the Maoists die off in China they become more and more communist in name only, and they have more in common...and certainly more trade with....South Korea, Japan, and the US than they do the Hermit Kingdom. They also know that a rabid dog is just as likely to bite it's master as a stranger thus they would be more secure with a stable Korea, even one aligned with the US, than they are with an unstable North Korea.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you Bison but I am and the best time to do this would be at one of Li'l Kim's huge parades. A lot of brass in those functions. Ducks in a row.

True. Before WW2 I don't think Japan ever lost a war or conflict they were in. It's different now but I'm not sure what China gains from having a hostile NK. I think they will keep the status quo

RE: Will the United States attack North Korea?
If the NORKs test a Thermonuclear weapon then I'd say there will be an attack. So far NK has only tested Boosted Fission devices.
But some in the People's Army arent too fond of KJU. They may ignore his launch/attack orders.
