The Year of the Palmetto State
With in one years time South Carolina Schools have won the national championships in college baseball, football, & women's basketball. And played in the men's Final Four.
Are these schools achieving the level of success they have reached with in state or out of state recruiters?

Both.
With only around 5 million in population it's going to be almost impossible to get enough talent to compete at a championship level in any of the the listed sports. Each of the championship teams and the South Carolina Final Four team is a mix of in-state and out of state talent.
Take Clemson for example. Deshaun Watson, Wayne Gallman, Jordan Leggett, and Carlos Watkins were all out of state talents. Ben Boulware, Cordrea Tankersly, Mike Williams, and Jadar Johnson were all from South Carolina.
