Well, I readily admit that I, for one, will be sorely disappointed if they don't end up there. And they may very well not. Nobody knows better that government bureaucrats how to circle the wagons and hide the pea when there is a problem.

But if these people are going to be offered as sacrificial lambs, then we need to do our part and crucify them. Maybe, just maybe, we will start to get some accountability then.

I think a trial of either Lerner or Rice would be very entertaining. My bet is that we'd get a lot of testimony from the witness stand to the effect that a lot of the denials we have heard were simply lies.
