I have also said that Lee at times play with no energy and disappears. I have not said that about Cokley. His disappearancs are generally due to fouls.
If you are going to throw my posts back in my face, get the **** straight.
There was no interpretation to it. I straight up asked you which of those you meant...you said, "both."

Last year we had-
Nobody who could create his own shot
Nobody we could count on to make a basket when the other team went on a run
Nobody who could create shots for others(once norton went down)
Nobody who was a deadly three point shooter(our two best were probably Smallwood and darling and the pt was minimal there)
No true big
No leader on the court
If you think those things are a recipe for success in college basketball today, please explain why. My expectation is that UAB become a power in this conference, along with hopefully mtsu, wku, and odu. Last year was not a year we were going to assert ourselves in that position once norton went down. Our staff went out and at least tried to fill some needs in the offseason. The new guys may not work out, but that's always the case. At least we have a scorer and a pg coming in for sure, and those were needs. If we can get a juco/transfer big then I like everything the staff has done personnel wise in the offseason. The growing pains were obvious for the staff coaching last year, but hopefully they learned and are planning how they will handle things differently next year.
You can't just assume because we have UAB on our jersey that we should go out and thrash any conference opponent with any five guys.
Another fact, a certain staff shouldve recruited better.

You absolutely said this team will not improve until this junior class leaves. If I had the time of find the post.

Agreed. Not having any sort of center, shooter, or backup option at the point was a huge issue that didn't just come up last year.

I agree with that as well. It's not like we didn't try and recruit pg. it's guys like giddy Potts that bother me the most. It is hard to recruit a guy with a freshmen or sophomore starter entrenched at his position though.

Why? Who would be afraid of competition? Thats like Sullivan or Cokley decommiting soon as HaHa committed.
