As bad as Bannon is, Jared is worse. Neither need to be anywhere near DC. Nor Ivanka. Well, I suppose Jared and Ivanka could hold jobs there under a Democrat administration.
The Trump mafia is in control. Bannon isn't a part of the family, but he's still a made man.

I don't think that anybody here has said he's following through with EVERYTHING. Please source this claim. A lot of us have been happy with a majority of things he has done so far.
A lot of presidents are simply unable to follow through on some of their promises. There are a lot of reasons for that. Could be congress, could be something they learned AFTER they became president, situation changes, etc, etc. That's just common sense, nothing is static. Has any president had more opposition up to this point?

Because so far he is doing what he said he was going to do, and hasnt f*cked up a giant section of the world. In short, after 3 months of Trump, Trump has proved himself to be capable and competant. After a few years of Obama, everyone knew he was getting outplayed, screwing things up, and blaming others. Thats why one got a wide range of bipartisan support, and the other got rebuffed in a bipartisn fashion.
Try again.
No need to.
Its your choice whether or not to wallow in your FailSuck. I was throwing you a rope to allow you to try to do better. You, instead, decided to hang yourself with it.

I know Sessions and dislike him greatly on a personal and a political level. If he were Emperor, we'd have universal daily drug testing with a disintegration booth standing by for all who ring the meter (that's Sessions foreground, Bill Pryor operating the controls):

Jared Kushner, Gary Cohn and Dina Powell are Democrats and establishment.

Are relentless attacks by the democrat's MSM clouding Trumps political instincts. If Trump doesn't wake up he's finished.

After hearing everything that he flipped flopped on yesterday, I think you have it right.
Trump seems to be learning on the job that you can't act like a crazy Nationalist.
I must admit that I am cautiously optimistic.

Many of the things he has said he wants to fix will take years to do. The wheels of government turn very slowly. Frankly, just getting things pointed in the right direction is getting stuff done.
It took years to get us to this effed up point. Why anyone would look at a 3 month window and declare total success or failure is baffling........and just with Gorsuch going to the bench - he is still far better than the alternative we were presented with....

Trump was the one who thought that he could do everything on day one.
Thankfully, it seems he is learning slowly but surely.

All of this right, left, bullcrap is what's killing this country....
If a president is dislike by the fringe on both sides...he's probably doing a good job. All of this everything I value is right and everything you value is wrong is not what's good for 3/4 of us.
I think any change we see from president Trump...he probably realizes he needs to play more of the game with those that spent a huge chunk of their life in congress. If he's to get anything done.
Mistakes will be made and I wont like every decision the president makes. I accept that and did going in and still voted for Donald Trump. People playing games wont except the mistakes or anything that they don't like. All of this you either with us or against bull **** is not what we need. It was clear from the go Donald Trump was not a far right leaning candidate and some issues he was more left on.

I agree with you 100%. I did not vote for Trump because I was afraid that he was in fact going to follow through on all of his campaign promises. Now however that it looks like he is going to be flexible and realize that you cannot significantly change the country over night, I am a bit more optimistic.

RE: Is Trump Turning His Back On His Base
I know Miko and myself have been saying from the start from the moment that Trump got the nomination... if you think you're getting a "Conservative" president with Trump, you're deluding yourself.
You're getting a neocon-light President... who will do things that you disagree with if you're on the left. He'll do things we'll disagree with on the right.
Like I said.. My one hope from this election has been confirmed... We've gotten a constitutionalist-conservative leaning Judge put on the Supreme Court. That was what this entire election boiled down to me, and thankfully McConnel didn't buckle when he could have.
Did I know he was going to do some stuff that wasn't going to "populist" in his decisions? Absolutely. (again, I was opposed to his idea of heading toward single payer. I was opposed to his idea of the missile strikes).
As long as he does more good for Americans than bad... tehn that's enough for me.

I agree with you.
I'm okay with the conservative judge because you simply replaced one for the other. Nothing changed.
Except maybe for the fact that this is how picking a SCOTUS will be for now on.

When Ginsberg checks out permanently (as differentiated from her frequent naps), it is going to be classic.
