I just realized I don't feel like he cares about Memphis, or the Tigers, or the fans. He's a cold fish who just wants to do what he wants to do and doesn't give a sh!t about the community. At least Pastner did stuff for fans and to build up Memphis and the program. So did Cal, so did Finch, so did Kirk.

Does anybody feel he's doing a good job representing the university and community?

What in the world makes you think he's going 22-12 anytime soon?

Bad league, bad out of conference schedule...just needs one team to buy in, maybe one good player like Alex Lomax...etc.

Plus, his history with average players on average teams shows that he usually grinds out a 'passable' mark.

Yes but we are historically untalented this upcoming year. Our recruiting class may rank ok in the AAC but we have lost the most talent of anybody, no doubt. I think we're looking at slightly over .500 probably

It's not really about the coach per say

Put together a normal cupcake early schedule play Tulane, ECU, and USF tough twice and we will win 15-16 games. Not great but above .500

Wouldn't surprise me to see Tubby overachieve next year. But with the lack of talent what is overachieving... 18 wins? Still not good enough. Now...follow that up with a 22 win team that squeaks into the tournament and we're back on track. Follow that up with another tournament team. Then follow that up with a run...

I don't see that happening, but I think that's a best case scenario right now. Probably very unrealistic

22 wins and a terrible schedule doesn't make the tournament in our league
