I agree. No matter who he is recruiting, it's a must to field a good team that is capable of making the ncaa tourney SOONER than later. It might be unfair, but that is the situation after pastner. I think it will add more pressure on tubby now the lawsons are gone.

Well, first, it's a message board. So we all sorta care. That's why we're here.

Second, what he thinks matters because he's on the inside. Much moreso than the guy here who constantly shares meaningless tweets about any player he sees on the internet. Moreso than the guys here who suppose and hypothesize and interject. Moreso even than the talking mouths in my radio speakers who have sources like uncles and such. Jake - ridicule him all you want - he's been seen this dynamic for 2 years now and so he offers a glimpse as to how other people caught in the middle of this might react.

I also hear that Markel is not devastated by this news. Might not be enough to keep him on the team, but it's a start.

Also hear at least one HS coach will not be sorry when Keelon is gone.

But go ahead and blast a player (like you call-out others of doing) for offering a team-first attitude.

Bowen and shirley (as she was leaving) extended his contract, and that seemed to be the very wrong part. They couldn't even fire him. Then they really messed up by keeping pastner two years too long instead of just making the payout. About 65% of the tiger fanbase did not like pastner in his last year. In the end, the tigers did save a lot of money by LUCK that he left, but in the process, many fans gave up their seats and the tiger brand got destroyed.

I'd like to see the numbers between the payout of pastner two years earlier vs all the lost revenue in the last couple years.

And it's gonna be worse next year.

+3 Markel's brother was going back and forth with Chuck Lawson on twitter about the selfishness of the Lawsons to pass the ball to Markel. He expressed his displeasure about this openly on twitter.
