2) I assume you are unsure what I meant by median (which I only referenced when I listed out the top 40 to show what the average-type top 40 guy all get you: (about 5.5 ppg).

Also, your use of the term "mode" makes no sense. All "mode" means (I assume you are trying to get all "statisticky" on me) is the most repeated number, so in the top 40 list above there is a dual mode of 0.5 and 1.4.

2) My use of mode was just a play on your use of mean and median. It was a play on the frequency of impact players. You said a 3-4 frequency...

1) You're quoting your later reply on the subject - where you are starting to move the goalposts after I questioned this original post of yours:

"The reality about JUCO's is that only about three or four each year are starter level impact players. The rest are either 5th option starters or bench guys brought in to add depth.

Unfortunately, depending upon what happens with Dedric and Markel, these guys may be depended upon to start and eat up major minutes.

That isn't good."

...That's what started it all. You were downplaying the impact of jucos - or at the very least, exaggerating the odds of getting impact jucos.

Read the underline ya big dummy.

And there comes the name calling. Sure sign you're losing.

I see the underline. Do you see the bold? The bold was your original post that I proved wrong. The underline is your subtle shift of the goalposts to indicate you meant leading-scorer type player out of a limited pool. That's not the same as your original term of "impact". You don't have to be leading scorer to have impact. And the top 20 is not the same population you used for your broad proclamation that covered all juco players.

If you're scoring or rebounding double digits, you're a "starter level impact player" - yes or no? It really is that simple.

You listed 11 such guys out of 40. Not 3 or 4 out of the total juco population.

turtle?
