Ah, no. Those are now on the foul poles at the baseball field.
I think I heard....they're now thinking of painting the baseball grass blue, a la BSU.

Currently mobile....but not necessarily upwardly.

CSUB should perform a study and see how/if the blue floor affects opposing teams. Does it affect turnovers, FG%, fouls, etc? Compare the stats against the team road average.

Then maybe, next year, paint the floor gold and do it all over again.

Seriously though, Im not a huge fan of the blue court either, but do find it less distracting from a TV viewing perspective than say, Colorado St with the antlers or the one at Fullerton.

RE: Cal Baptist
So, I got a little sidetracked tonight and ran into this forum. It's a D2 forum and this is the Western thread page. Some talk of Cal Baptist and UCSD. One poster continually rants about too many DI programs as if he takes it personally when they move up, several threads like that. Anyway, mentioned too is UA Anchorage, which was bantered around a little on the old Scout boards. Lots of other stuff....Metro State, even some D2 attendance numbers (that were even worse that I'd have thought)
(Carnival caller): "Step right up, lots of us having our schools bashed. Step right up and take exception. "

Yah....wonderful for out conference RPI....which, uh, actually managed to move up several places to 25th I think of 30 IIRC. UNC was improved last year over their horrible 2015 season. (Actually I don't know of D2 games count +- RPI)

Lastly, I found out about a month ago that one of my co-workers is actually a UNC grad! So, obviously I did my duty and invited her out to watch them at the baseball field this season.

On a different note, Cal Baptist just got a Santa Clara (D1) transfer Matt Hubbard (6' 9", 230-lbs Jr) in basketball. I only make note of it because since announcing they are joining the WAC, I have noticed their basketball program has been pursuing higher profile prospects (3-star players) in the 2018 class; in anticipation of a higher level of competition in just over a year. Hubbard is the first step in a 5 year journey to upgrade their program.

Yah, noticed that too. Kind of have to hand it to guys like Hubbard, who won't be doing any post-season games anymore.

The WAC has a lot of very nice arenas for a mid major conference. The ones without the modern-ness (UMKC, SU) have lots of history attached to it too.

Very impressive win last night over Biola for Cal Baptist. There was 4,860 fans in attendance at the arena and the game was televised on Fox Sports throughout Southern California, Nevada and Hawaii on Prime Ticket.

To date, CBU is averaging 2,388 per game; with three of their games over 4,400 in attendance.
