I am loving this trend of donations, especially from a variety of alumni. The more athletes that make it to the next level will continue to help build up the football program and culture surrounding it. Way to go Jason!

Is the announced amount about 10M? It was 9M in the Free Press article before a few more big gifts.

And don't forget the 50K Howard Booth pledged for the HOF project (different project but a very nice project, indeed, for the Convo).

It's time for TJ to deliver some of that cash. What other former emu guys are in the professional ranks that need to be hit up? Terry Collins?

Terry Collins, I believe, has donated to the baseball stadium improvements over the years.

There was a big anonymous gift for the new turf for the baseball stadium. Don't know if it was Collins or someone else.

All of this information has been made public by EMU through many press releases.

So wrapping our arms around some of this:

1). Last summer EMU completed the baseball turf project which cost I believe around 200K or so.

2). The West campus building project, 45M, is being fund raised as we are discussing.

3). EMU announced a 250K project for the HOF in the Convo and they got a 50K pledge from Howard Booth.

Lot of things going on and Mr. Dan McLean is a very, very busy man raising funds for all of these projects.

Heather has gotten a lot of headlines nationally, but Dan McLean is my MVP.

How could they spend $250,000 on a HOF project? What could cost so much?
