He has accomplished absolutely nothing and did absolutely nothing to continue the success Bowden laid out. We continue to lose to pathetic teams, ECU this past season (sorry pirate fans but that team was bad) and Miss St in our opener.(same team who lost a week later to Maine) Don't give me that "O well Miss St beat Florida crap". True they did and you saw what the Florida administration thought about that. All the man is is a joke. I love seeing people stay away from games because of this clown. So before you go saying well you aren't a true fan then, well nope I'm not a true football fan, not of Tulane atleast. Until that man is long gone I pray for Tulane to lose every damn football game. He makes my skin crawl.
Now I'm on my way to watch a real team play. Maybe we should get Jones to coach football.
Observer how can you back Scelfo?
I think Scelfo will prove his value this season. All other arguements that I can, and many others have offered, would only be ignored by you.
He's a clown.
Your arguements might have engendered more credibility had you not resorted to name-calling.
First off he should have never gotten the job, it was blackmail. As Sandy herself.
It might interest you to know that I did talk to Sandy, and she paints a different picture than the one you are attempting to paint. Suffice it to say, her initial choice was going to be Rodriguez, but after further review, and administrative demands of the position, he was not selected.
I can give you names of boosters and names of people within the athletic dept for you to ask yourself.
Again, I think this comment is another exaggeration. I doubt that you know any boosters that I don't already know and have already talked to. I can say that I have met others like yourself, at Tulane functions. But after a full discussion allowing for the separation of fact from opinion and heresay, most softened in their prejudice.
He has accomplished absolutely nothing and did absolutely nothing to continue the success Bowden laid out.
Bowden took the talent Teevens left behind and got the absolute most out of them. But he left no success to carry on. He could not wait to leave because he knew the cupboard was bare. He also knew of the sterner measures the administration was about to impose. Any reference to Bowden brings total discredit to your thesis.
We continue to lose to pathetic teams, ECU this past season (sorry pirate fans but that team was bad) and Miss St in our opener.(same team who lost a week later to Maine) Don't give me that "O well Miss St beat Florida crap". Yes, Tulane did give you great pleasure and lose to the like of ECU and MSU. Tulane fielded the third youngest football team in NCAA div. 1A. They were a JV team playing against varsity competition. Ricard was not yet ready to show his abilities when he faced MSU, and it showed. However, against ECU Ricard began to blossom, and fans got a preview of what was to come. And when Tulane begins putting as much money into its football program as does Florida, and relaxes the academic requirements to the standards of Florida, then you can attempt to draw a comparison.
I'll ignore the remainder of your comments because of their lack of merit.
