Without there best player, Thornwell.. Did not watch it when they played Memphis here but I've watched several of there games and I don't think they would win much without him..

I still can't believe we beat them, even without Thornwell...

Frank Martin is a prime example of give a guy a chance before you proclaim he can't get it done. Show some patience and let your coach build the program. Frank's first two seasons at SC were losing seasons. He's in year 5, and now he's going to the sweet 16. I wonder how the fans on this board would act if Tubby had two losing seasons?

Buzz Williams lost first game (0-1 in NCAA tournament in 3 years)
Steve Forbes lost first game
Gregg Marshall won one and lost one

Collectively they went 1 for 4

They are a decent 3-4 place AAC team without him. Martin said one of worst games of the year. And before people start on Frank Martin and how long it takes to build a program:

They are football school. Basketball has been irrelevant there forever. Two round of 25 finishes.

Their last Win in NCAAs before this year was 1973. So yes, a LONG rebuilding job.

We were the team that prevented SC's 2nd win in 1973. We won 90-76.

I'm just happy being the Gamecocks worse loss.

This post clearly shows your ignorance of CBB. I knew from your previous posts you would post a "it takes a long time to rebuild". You didn't even know it was a 44 year rebuild at SC. Lol. That us really just ignorance.

Just tonight you posted how valuable Craig R. is and proclaimed he is a good 3 point shooter. You must have been watching some other guy with the same name shoot 3's, cause if you think he's a good shooter something's wrong with your brain. Yup. Meanwhile, our team watched at home after losing seven of our last nine, and losing by 12000 points in our final two games.

I'd take any degree of success over where we were throughout this last month.
