WHO ?

My gosh, he was on the court all the time and didn't do squat while at Memphis. He had plenty of chances to perform, he just didn't get it done. For whatever reason, either his head or his coach.

Getting pulled for any mistake, inconsistent minutes, sporadic benchings were somehow supposed to help him develop. SMH

RE: Goodnight SMU
You know the Tiger basketball program is at an all time low when MTSU mades the NCAA two straight years in a row and we don't make the NIT two straight years in a row!! Let that sink in!

That's how bad our program is right now. But there is an easy cure... recruit recruit 4 and 5* players and we'll be back quickly.

Common knowledge: from Doug Gottlieb Tweet today

KI has improved as much in terms of daily habits as any player Danny Hurley has coached. Didn't play at Memphis cause he was a knucklehead

The 30 win team AAC champion got a 6 seed and lost in the first round.

They beat Memphis twice.

That's how far off the map this program is.

I was gonna say the same.. We got thashed by 40 pts and they got ousted by USC in the first round of the Tourney... We are way far off the map.

A lot of players are knuckleheads amigo.

Cal had quite a few.

Plus that's what your research and evals during recruiting are for.

And Pastner ran off 20+ players.

His average was far in front of the national average for transfers.

The mark of a great coach is his ability to reign in and focus the talented knuckleheads. Any coach can hold playing time over their heads.

Let that sink in.

Interesting. Maybe the SMU coach just got caught in the headlights of a well coached team. USC likes to come from behind. They were accustomed to winning those kinds of games.

I am out here at the Tulsa regional. USC simply outplayed them in the second half. SMU went into shell mode, trying not to lose, the final 10 minutes and USC kept coming at them. SMU was outplayed and out coached the second half. Heck of a fame to watch though.

Watching Kuran against Creighton. It's shameful how underutilized he was at Memphis.

There's your answer right there, along with some others who were under coached and/or developed tendinitis. And then there were some who weren't deemed Memphis good who are now performing at a high level at other programs. There's a reason our once proud program is now in the dumpster, and it didn't start just this season.

Doug Gottlieb is a f'ing idiot who will get his shots in on the Tigers every chance he gets. But then again it's not surprising you're the one using that idiots quote, just to again pump your same old bullsh!t agenda.

Yep. It's easy to look back now and say this and that. At the time, Kuran did not belong, and needed to move on. Simple as that.

True. However, Ole Miss won't be in post-season football play while we will be.
