What a load of junk. Three innings with three questionable calls and ULL takes it 3-4

If anyone could provide a picture of the 9th inning catch attempt in the App-ULL game I'd love to see it just for clarity one way or the other

Hard to argue the call from a computer feed with no replay, but man it was close. Still excited that it took everything thing the Cajuns had to win the series down there. We have basically the same team as last year and yet were going head to head with some really good teams. If we could hit a little better we'd be really tough.

Hoffman hit by pitch. Friday night he was hit by a pitch and not awarded first because they claimed he didn't make an attempt to get out of the way. He clearly turned his back to it. This time it was a 95 mph pitch high and inside. He didn't even have time to react and the home plate ump again called that he didn't try to get out of the way. Eventually awarded first after the umps convened.

New pitcher for CCU. He threw about 50 pitches on Friday night as well.

Hard to believe that pitcher throwing lazer beams for Coastal was a sophomore...

Sitting behind a radar gun. His fastball was sitting 94-96.

Jags beat GS 5-0 and take the series.

3 run shot by CCU they now lead 7-4

I'll reiterate what has been said, I've been really impressed with the presentation on the free stream as well as everything else I've seen from Cajun baseball so far. Seems like a great atmosphere and I'd love to get down there for a series soon.

Thanks for the compliments. You really should come down here for a series. We love traveling fans. Also, I was very impressed with App State this series. They look like a completely different team from a year ago. You guys will win some games for sure this year and I expect y'all to be in the top 5 or so of the conference. Cajun pitching ended up winning it for us again. We really need to get our offense going.

Big midweek games coming up with Houston and Tulane coming to town. Good luck the rest of the way App State, keep grinding.

thanks, this is why the Cajuns are ranked, didn't have their best this weekend but found a way to get it done, as far as us, its has become apparent we hired the right coach, give us a couple of years and we will contend for a position in the top tier of the conference.

I'd love to attend the conference tournament next time the Cajuns host. We could learn a lot about game day operations from your crew. Its hard to believe this is basically the same roster as last year minus 2 guys for the Apps. Just goes to show how much of a difference leadership from a coaching staff can make. I just wish we had a few more bats in the lineup.

Balls and strikes have been very inconsistent. Home plate ump just got overruled again from the rest of the crew. He was trying to call batter interference on a throw out attempt.

We got called on that Friday night as well...First time in 10 years of watching college baseball I've seen it called.

We had batter interference called against us in the post season last year. It does get called. Not super common, but it's not like it is a rule that's never enforced.

Was 7-4 Coastal winning. A single for T State scores two to make it 7-6 Coastal winning.
