Ambrose exemplifies why some of us believe that JJ and his style turn good 3 point shooters into mediocre shooters.

Why would you say that? He made 7 more 3-pointers than his sophomore year and 12 more 3-pointers than his freshman year.

Because he shot nearly 42% from three. He only approached even 40% once here. And he never looked as comfortable stepping into a jumper here as he did there.

And because JJ has such a great track record of phenomenal 3 point shooters.

Unbearable. On a side note... looks like that strong RPI for the CAA really showed up again come tournament time.

Is it strange to you that he improved his efficiency between his sophomore and senior seasons? Can that only be attributed to coaching? Do players not typically develop throughout their careers?

Good for Mosley to make it to the tournament. We could have used him as a 7th or 8th option off the bench. Fact is he is a very one dimensional player and some of you elevated him to star status that's just not justified. He's a very good specialist 3 point shooter and we could have used him but it's not Jones fault he isn't here. Smh at some of these comments

How about Middle? I figured they would win because they are just better than Minnesota. Conference USA may have some dregs, but Middle is really good.

Definitely looked good. Probably deserved a higher seed.

MYSU not only got disrespected with its seed, but had to play MINN in Wisconsin, practically a home game for the Gophers. Glad they won, good for them. The 12th seed may actually turn out to a blessing since had they been an 11 or 10th seed and won they would have played a top 12 national team (3rd or 2nd seed). Now they play a 4th seed, Butler, and I think they can win that one too.

Mosely isnt a great player but would have started at 2 guard over Baker.

Some on here wouldn't be happy because he's a former VCU assistant.

Always liked Moseley from the time we met him at the tip off dinner. Big smile, bow tie wearing, funny and very personable kid. All his team mates loved him. Too bad we didn't have him four years, things happen I guess.

They really are. They are a complete team. It really is surprising/impressive that they have been able to put that sort of team together.

Ugh. That nonsense drives me crazy. We are in no position to be haughty.

Maybe that is the difference in them and us. They weren't afraid to hire Jeff Capel who had been at ODU, and look what that did for them.

Really strange. Game was practically even except offensive rebounding where MTSU destroyed them. Minn should have had an advantage in rebounding.
