They've never met a center or right of center group which they won't call a hate group.

LOL. This opinion piece was a 'hit job' filled with lies.

Every group on the SPLC hate group list has earned inclusion and has been given real reasons for their inclusion.

Just because the book the gentlemen wrote was 2 decades old, doesn't mean that the criticism is undeserved.
