Dude, you're dealing with posters who consider an overall losing record as "winning".

Once they've decided on a narrative, it's over.

Tell that to the resident genius attorney.

Still trying to figure out the whole "he took a pay cut to come to Memphis."

I know I'm a little slick slow, do if you can cipher up the whole $1.7 million gozinta $3.09 million and explain how that is a pay cut, I'd rightly appreciate it.

Where did I use the words he took a pay cut. My post up there ^ says the TT AD liked Tubby. Which was true. My post up there says the AD asked Tubby to wait and not do anything until he got back and talked with him face to face. Which was true. My post up there states that the AD was prepared to give him what he wanted, which would have been at the least matching our offer. Which was true. He also was supposed to be at a groundbreaking of a new basketball practice facility as the AD indicated after Tubby had made his mind up.

Look we all get it. You don't like Tubby. It's really really clear. Maybe he will crash and burn and you will get your wish, which is him being gone and then Steve Forbes being named the new coach.

More blah blah

BTW. On the 15th, the day after this was posted. Tubby and Saul were in Murfreesboro, TN. They probably have good golf there..... But they also were in to see East play.

Bad look for a lot of people on this board.....

Truth is, they've had someone at every East game that it's been possible to attend. They may not sign a single player from there. I sure hope they do - and will be really concerned about what this says on our program if they don't. But if they don't, it's not because they're not working.

Has nothing to do with age, work ethic, golf, or most of the things the dumb asses on here have spouted; it has to do with salesmanship, and I don't think Tubby and company are the best salesmen. Sales / recruiting requires a certain amount of bullshitting/ lying that they have a problem with. When you are trying to turn around a program, kids want to make the tournament, and short timers don't see that happening. So, you have to take kids that aren't one and dones, grad transfers. This is why Tubby's turn arounds have taken longer than others.

Well, you got the lead recruiter quoting bible verses on twitter, so there's that.

I'm assuming you meant recruiting = recruiter.

So.

It is unfair to expect him to have the energy, hunger, and drive of someone in his 30's, 40's, or even 50's. I give Tubby credit for toiling when most people his age draw Social Security and enjoy their well-earned leisure.

Does he use twitter like Norvell does?

I haven't seen anything from him.
