Why don't we host NCAA Womens Tourament anymore
Did we stop bidding to host?
NCAA just not award it to us?
Did NCAA rules change as to minimum size of arenas?
Did our attendance not support having it here?
The loss of the NCAA tournament has coincided with what some here think is a demise in our basketball programs. I am not sure if they are linked or not.

The first two rounds are now hosted by top seeds (4 seeds and better). We haven't made the tournament since this change.
We last hosted a regional in 2013, not sure how long the rotation is.
We hosted the Field Hockey Final 4 this year so we are still bidding for NCAA events in general.

2018 basketball regionals are – Albany, Kansas City, Lexington, Spokane 2019 /2020 out for bids
1st and 2nd rounds go to the top 16 seeds (if they can)
