Ken Bone would be a home run hire. That guy turned Portland St who had never made the Tourney into back-to-back bids and one of the better western mid majors. Portland St flopped back into eternal obscurity right after he left. The guy has proven he can build a mid major in the Pacific NW.

Hes coaching for free at Gonzaga so shouldn't be too hard to hire him

Seattle's attendance under Dollar...

2011: 4,614
2012: 2,944
2013: 2,726
2014: 2,193
2015: 2,059
2016: 1,675
2017: 1,405

Yup, that'll anybody fired.

Well, once Seattle U. gets a new coach, maybe he can re-recruit Griley or someone better.

2017 signees Nate Pryor (West Seattle HS PG, 3A Player of Year, committed since his freshman year of HS) and Aaron Nettles (Seattle Prep PG) haven't decommited but since they already signed, can they?

Ironic that when Dollar finally brings in a consistent class of two local talented guys, he gets canned. I really hope we can keep Pryor. Very talented kid that would have had more offers if he wasnt committed to SU all through HS. Led his team to a 3rd place finish in 3A before losing to national #1 Nathan Hale and Michael Porter Jr. Pryor still put up 27 points against them.

They will be given the option to decommitt if they want. That is what new coaches allow those who committed to the former coach. New coach will talk to them in all likely hood. It will all depend on what direction the new coach will want to take SU.

Gee Scott of 710AM is saying Pryor will go to UW with Dollar if in fact, Dollar is headed to UW. Sad but expected

Seattle should talk to Jared Phay, a highly successful Juco head coach at College Of Southern Idaho. See if he is interested in moving to Seattle. I think they need a proven coach rather than a big name. I didn't work out with Cameron Dollar, but maybe this would be a good fit in Seattle.

Phay to SU would effectively cut off that little CSI pipeline GCU has going. We pulled both Vernon & Carr out of there. Been hoping all season that Nwankwo would end up worth and with an offer from GCU, but haven't heard anything.

RE: Cameron Dollar fired
Honestly I think that is good news. Dollar "WAS" a good coach but has been a stick in the mud lately. The program hasn't been improving with him. Good thing for Seattle they have some of the best High School basketball in the Country. If they want to take a chance and pick up Brandon Roy from Nathan Hale before he becomes out of your reach. Brandon Roy has Nathan Hale ranked #1 in the Country. When he was hired the #1 rated HS player Michael Porter Jr transferred to go play with him along with his younger brother. If a High School coach can land the number one player in the Country without recruiting imagine what he could do if he recruited? Just a thought. On a side note Las Cruces has two kids that played this past Season at Rainier Beach. Sad to see them leave Las Cruces but they are better off playing up there. The younger brother Jorel Saterfield is definitely D1 talent. Last I saw he was Rated #5 in the state of Washington.

Ken Bone would be a home run hire. That guy turned Portland St who had never made the Tourney into back-to-back bids and one of the better western mid majors. Portland St flopped back into eternal obscurity right after he left. The guy has proven he can build a mid major in the Pacific NW.

With garbage facilities to boot. Bone would be a solid hire.

If he could make PSUs arena work, he can make Key Arena or even Connolly

Both Seattle schools now looking for a coach. Lorenzo Romar, and likely #1 recruit Michael Porter Jr, are leaving UW. And someone can get them as a package.

Seattle U???? No just kidding
