The NCAAT will be a success for the ACC if ???
I'm afraid the ACC set the bar so high last year that it will be hard for the league to win enough games that fans will look on our tournament as a success.
How many games will ACC teams win this year?
Who has the best chance of reaching the Final Four?
Who has the best chance of winning it all?

Had Syracuse made the tournament, all of Miami's losses would have come to NCAA-bound teams

Last year the ACC had 6 teams in the sweet 16, 4 in the Elite Eight, and 2 in the Final Four. There's the bar. 6 in the Sweet 16 is going to be tough but I definitely thing 4 in the Elite Eight and 2 in the Final Four are completely achievable. I actually think 3 ACC teams will make the Final Four this year.

If the ACC even gets close to matching that then I would consider it a success. I don't see that as being a problem. It wouldn't surprise me to see Duke & Carolina playing 1 more time, round 4 for the title. Duke, ND, NC & UL is a possible F4.

Last year, the ACC earned 25 units - one for each of 7 teams in the tourney and one for each of 18 wins before the Final Four.
When I filled out a bracket this year, I had us earning 21 units with 9 teams and 12 wins. I had 4 teams in the Sweet Sixteen, 3 in the Elite 8 and 2 in the Final Four (Duke and Louisville). That's exceptional by any standard except last year. Would that be disappointing or cause for celebrating?

I would celebrate if it's UNC instead of Duke.

Nothing says we can't have another chance. Clemson did in football.

Maybe this is the Hokies' year to tear down the nets...?

If Louisville is in the F4 I will be celebrating no matter what the rest of the ACC does.
