Think the last 6 minutes of the 1st half did UNCW in, much like the last 6 minutes of the UNCW W&M game did in W&M.

Too many offbalance jumpers, not enough ball movement, and didn't feed the ball down low. Maintain an 8-10 point lead going into the 2nd half would have been hard for UVA to overcome

I doubt that. The way to beat Gonzaga is with a really good big man, its not run and gun. Sure Gonzaga started off slow but they are not a team that is easy to beat and they will wear SD State down.

I would have liked to see Mosley shoot some more. He didn't miss at all today.

Margin of error is paper thin. One missed defensive assignment basically cost them the ballgame. I think if it was two points heading into the last possession, you would have converted.

Great season. Disappointed for sure, but I'm going to avoid the temptation to analyze every play and every player, and just be thankful for the run.

It was great, but boy am I tired of over the last 15 years when we get to the NCAAT, we get a lead and blow it. This reminded me of the George Washington game.

Damnit man!!!! All the hype leading up, all the time spent listening and watching, and to just have your bubble popped. I just watched the postgame presser, and to see the looks on Chris and Denzel's faces knowing this is it makes me really sad :(

Yep, I was feeling good about it. Hawks were rolling but we became a little complacent. And, we've seen this before with this team on the defensive end. Hawks scored well enough to win. We all knew how good this team can score but you simply have to get stops to advance.

Thanks Chris, Ambrose and Denzel. You really stepped up today and were leaders.

The future is still bright for UNCW ball regardless of whether Kevin moves on or not. Kevin has built this program back up to a high level and we all love him as our coach. Cacok and Bryce are two first team All CAA players who will be back. Talley will be back, Fornes will be ready to roll, Ty Taylor will be eligible and Bryan has another year. You could compete at a high level with just those pieces alone plus they have 5 newcomers that can play. We certainly don't know what will happen and who will be back but the UNCW job is now a good job regardless.

Nice game and great season UNCW. I was pulling for you to beat UVA and had you picked to make it to the Sweet 16. Glad the Sea Hawks got things turned around the past couple of years after having a long drought under a couple of prior coaches. Hope you are able to hang on to Keats for a few more seasons.

How was what I said incorrect? You guys did exactly what you had to early to win, then you immediately gave it back up after that point and never truly recovered. Once UVA caught up you played UVA's game, which spelled doom. You never really challenged them in the 2nd half.
