Cool that NMSU and GCU will be playing Illinois next year. Next years WAC tourney can't get here soon enough and I hope its at GCU arena. I don't care if it's in GCU's arena. I think attendance will be better, especially if it's a GCU/NMSU game. Vegas will never come close to selling out the Orleans. The only reason the WCC does is because of Gonzaga, unless GCU brings that many fans. NMSU only gets about 800 fans to Vegas and that's still more than all other schools combined. I know that won't be the case next year, even if its in Vegas.
I hope the game is at GCU as well. Aggie fans will fill up GCU arena easily.
I hope they chose to play the tournament behind closed doors with no fans. Make it as neutral as possible.
I guess we could have it at your gym since no fans go to your games?

Our final attendance average was over 5000 per game with our best game ironically vs. UMKC with almost 10000 compared to your games where you can't even get 1000. Attendance problems are an issue in general with college basketball with the exception of Grand Canyon. So far your post are ridiculous. The fact your ranting about being is the MVC when you can't even win the WAC is hilarious and very entertaining. Please keep posting.

Was it better for the WAC financially to have NMSU in the championship than UMKC? Ask yourself who is the WAC rooting for last night when so much $$$ on the line?

I don't think it has anything to do with UMKC. If UTRGV beat us then it would have been the same. The WAC likes the $$$ from NMSU fans. Too hard to resist. Missouri grad Commish knows the $$$. NMSU could have Chicago ST roster and would still make it to the championship.
The stats from last nights game show the story. 25 to 16 fouls. 33-19 fts. Early Bonus when down and can't make a shot. UMKC shot the ball 15 more times than NMSU. NMSU shot more 3 pointers and presses. Its highly unusual that that style of team shoots significantly more FT.
There is a reason your top 50 in Luck in Kenpom.

Let me try to reason with someone who obviously has no basketball knowledge. NMSU typically gets lots of attempts at free throw line because they take the ball inside a lot. Roos were jacking up perimeter shots so no fouls. To suggest Hurd has fixed these games is absurd and needs to be a new episode on conspiracy theories. I guess I'll let you live your fantasy through GCU since you obviously have no faith in your team, oh wait. I forgot. It's Hurds fault UMKC sucks.

100% agree with your logic. NMSU shot five more 3s. UMKC shot 22, yes that is 22 more 2 pt shots than NMSU yet UMKC shot 14 less free throws and does not press. These are facts. I like how no NMSU fan can explain or rationalize this fact? Just label it a conspiracy when I point out facts.
I think all the teams in the WAC besides Bakersfield suck btw including UMKC and NMSU. All the teams beside Chicago St and Bakersfield are pretty even in being terrible.
Home cooking in sports is nothing new in sports. That why home teams get +5 on the spread in Vegas.

The KenPOM Luck Coefficient is unusually high for those teams. UMKC is also off the chart but thats because they beat teams they shouldn't have early in the season when they still had their best player. There is debate whether Luck is about randomness, coaching, opponents not giving you their best game, different home court advantages etc...
If you look at Seattle, UTRGV, UVU they are really low in Luck.

Also the last line with a big man visiting this weekend that will maybe fill out the roster?? Here are some highlights from the FIBA U18 Euro championships where he averaged some really decent numbers and it looks like he's got a good motor with some skill running the high pick and roll. Plus he runs the floor a majority of the time.
EDIT: It looks like he is making an official visit with Georgia Tech today.
According to verbalcommits, Alessandro Lever (6' 10", 210-lbs) committed to GCU. Looks like he liked GCU better than Georgia Tech. A good pick up.
