In a bit of a surprise to me, we started our #1 pitcher Randy Bell against Columbia instead of Mississippi State, which is the second game of our double-header. We will see how that decision plays out.

Good game Arky State, picking up where we left off from the NO Bowl!

Astate splits a DH with tech. Losing 19-3 in game 1 but winning 6-5 in game 2.

Tech drops to 11-2 on the year

Jags beat Columbia 4-1 but fall to Mississippi State 2-0. I don't like 3 team tournaments. It forced us to play a DH and our #2 to face their ace.

Didn't matter who we pitched. Problem was our offense.

Oh I'm not saying that's but why we lost, I just didn't like it.

You could have easily matched up pitchers if you wanted

Meh. You won't win scoring 0 runs regardless who pitches

Columbia pitched their ace against us in game 1. Mississippi State only played one today (game 2). We threw our ace against Columbia. I'm not saying I would have done it differently, because I wouldnt have. I just like to see all teams play the same number of games per day. I'm not trying to be a sore loser. Our ace would not have won that matchup anyways.

Fell 4-0 to Mizzou. Couldn't get anything off probably the best pitcher in the nation, Tanner Houck. Despite everything, still had the bases loaded in the ninth and the tying run at the plate.

Never mind Chief Dawgass disappeared. I would say that's a typo...but it's not.

Leger lost a no-hitter with two outs in the ninth for ULL; allowed one hit and one HBP in 8.2

AL A&M let their starter go 157 pitches.

I think we should immediately move the Conference Tournament to Arlington....to make it fair for everyone else.
