I agree. MB can say whatever he wants, but when someone else says one ill word of the team, they're a terrible fan..

Watts also gave up his red shirt this year to step in for Norton.
Guy had spirit and class. Total team player

I agree. He saved our bacon. Was always the second option, but played his role and contributed.

La Tech player interview "We had a chip on our shoulder because of what happened last time we played in Birmingham"

There was no chip on our shoulder. We played like it.

I feel bad for Madison. I've never seen him do anything but hustle, and for this he gets next to no PT in his Senior season on a .500 team

I blinked when that happened. I saw La Tech get that runaway basket after our lousy attempt to score and the next thing, I head the ball hit the floor and I looked up and there it was, 20 feet straight up in the air, and into the hands of the La's again for another quick 2. Thanks for letting me know what the hell happened,, but I wish it wasnt what you said.. That really sucks!

it happened so quickly that they didnt really even show what happened until after they came back from commercial. it may have been the most immature and ridiculous thing ive seen in a basketball game since i played at the boys and girls club

Can you explain exactly what happened?

Baxter the GOAT.. absolutely stinks on offense, plays out of control, and the coach lets him take too many shots. But he was also our best defensive player. Catch 22 I guess.

I don't know if I've ever been more disappointed in a team than I was in this team this year. And that's saying something with the teams I root for. I have no expectations for next year.

Before the season is over, why don't you guys start a thread dedicated to how much you guys hate Baxter. Maybe someone will send it to him. I'm sure it will make him feel good knowing how the fans feel about him now that the season is over. This is your Last chance.

Same. Next year's team should be very good but after witnessing the **** show that was this season, I also have zero expectations. Fortunately or unfortunately I'll be overseas for the entirety of it.

I understand Baxters value to this team, but he is terrible on offense. The coach let him take too many shots this season. He played out of control. He was 0-6 tonight. We lost by 12. Do the math.. I know there were others who played just as badly or worse on offense tonight, but he was allowed too much of a green light on offense. He's also a hot head.

Cokley averages 12 points a game. He had 2. That affected the game more than Baxter.

As for his hot head, we need more of that on this team. Too soft.

And Baxter was the only player to show up against FIU last week.

The guy just played his last game for us, and 3-4 of you idiots are only going to remember how much y'all hated him.

I do agree with the last part. This group of players is soft as charmin and has no heart.

You and MB enjoy your UAB circle jerk where no one ever utters a bad word about UAB. Get your head out of the sand. We just witnessed one of the worst UAB basketball seasons ever.

Do you see anyone celebrating like it was a great season. It sucked. But I have enough class not to trash the players who just had their season end. There is no reason to continue trashing players who are more disappointed than the fans. You talk about no heart. Fans like you have no heart.

What good does it do to continue trashing Baxter. He will never play a game for UAB again. He is the one of the only player on the team that consistently showed effort and heart.

And I would rather be in a circle jerk where everyone praises UAB than the circle jerk you and a few others are in there no one says a good thing about them.

Like another poster said. You spent a week trashing Lees bad defense, and then get all up in arms when someone other than you has something negative to say. This is a message board, and we can say what we want. Phil is an unrealistic sunshine pumper.

And (constantly) trashing someone on social media makes you look so smart and classy.

BAXTER, whom I'll bet my next beer tab on that you've never met, gave his all every night, for my school. That makes him my guy. And you are attacking him.

So go find a school and a place you like, and get the hell out of mine.
