Jacorie Williams (Middle Tenn) was named newcomer of the year and Player of the year.

Something of a surprise but deserved.

Kermit Davis collects his Coach of the Year award as he fields job offers.

If he goes anywhere, LSU would be smarter. Easier to win in the SEC than in the ACC. If he waits a year or two, Memphis may be open again.

The last 10 Coaches of the Year of CUSA and their next coaching stop.

2016 - Jarod Haase UAB - Stanford
2015 - Mike White La Tech - Florida
2014 - Danny Manning Tulsa - Wake Forest
2013 - Josh Pastner Memphis - Georgia Tech
2012 - Larry Eustachy Southern Miss - Colorado State.
2011 - Mike Davis UAB - Texas Southern
2010 - Tony Barbee UTEP - Auburn
2009 - John Calipari Memphis - Kentucky
2008 - John Calipari Memphis - Kentucky
2007 - Kirk Speraw UCF - Iowa (asst)

Except for Mike Davis, Kirk Speraw and maybe Eustachy, getting the award has been a stepping stone out of CUSA. The last three have left immediately.

I figured McCree would get it since Williams got newcomer of the year. Even with MTSU's success, I'd be surprised if Kermit left. He's been there so long he may be a lifer. Plus he has a special needs daughter that is really entrenched in her school up there according to the MTSU fans.

Pastner and Calipari both went on to win Coach of the Year in their new conferences as well.

Someone needs to check all the signatures on that Player of the Year Award.
