Jordon Talley(aka #9 ESPN top plays!)
https://youtu.be/KuKhTfLpKXo

I have been a critic of Talley, especially last year. But he absolutely carried this team many times in this tournament and IMO, won the game for us tonight against CofC.

When he plays his game(pushing tempo, driving to the bucket and getting players involved) he is very good. He can flat out get the ball up the court lightning fast. When he starts scoring, he sometimes tries too much and starts trying to do everything. He took a couple of bad shots when he was feeling it tonight, but to his credit, he reigned himself in and got back to his game.

Next year he will be a senior and he can absolutely lead this team. I hope he watches game film of his play against the Cougars tonight, and pays attention to what he did right. If he can stay in his lane, we can repeat next year, despite the loss of Ingram, Flemmings and Chuck.

Hats off to a quickly maturing Jordon Talley.

He Carried this team a ton this year. When we went through stretches where we couldn't get anything going, he was he only guy that could get to the rack consistently.

I agree concerning Jordon. He has continued to be a real positive off the bench. He also has had some of the best assists I have seen any Hawk have. Would love to see a highlight film of his dimes.

Another thing, watching all the players walk out of the hotel yesterday, most had smiles taking in the moment. Not Jordan, he was already locked in and had his game face on

AMEN!!!!!!

His on ball defense has improved immensely too, now to the point that his feet are much quicker and guards with his hands less which translates to less fouls. Smart player that always has a chip on his shoulder and comes to play.

Did you see him bend over to get in the face of CoC defender after he made a layup? Ref was right there, so he must not have said anything, but he definitely plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Yay for B10 style basketball. I respect CoC, but they don't play my favorite brand of basketball.

I saw a joke online that said the CIA was replacing water boarding with UVA basketball on replay.

Bill called it on Talley early. Several times this year he came into the game and penetrated the defense and got us moving, often prior to that we were simply passing it around the perimeter before shooting.

I watched Top 10 plays this AM and did not see a UNCW or Talley play in their countdown. Which play did they show last night?

His acrobatic layup. I'll try to find it.

That layup was insane! They showed the replay at the game too. Mega crowd pleaser.
