Great job Troy. We just couldn't sustain our shooting from the day before. When you shoot 30% and get out rebounded by 20 I'm surprised we kept it as close as we did. Good luck in the dance.

JUCO PG Tre Nottingham has signed. Have a SG from Converse Judson committed also.

RE: 2017 Sun Belt Basketball Tournament
If all works out, I'm expecting next years Cajun team to be the most talented in a number of years. Then again, you have to actually play the games. We lose Jay Wright who had three very good years with the Cajuns. We signed one LA high school player whose team won state with him as the MVP (at this time last year some had him rated as the #5 combo guard in the country and an LSU commit) and we have transfers from South Carolina, Missouri, and USC that sat out this year due to transfer rules. It will be interesting to see how the chemistry develops as that is what typically makes or breaks a team.

Take a look at verbalcommits.com and you will see that for 2017 we have no players in the signed or commit columns. That does not mean we won't eventually, but the lack of activity is strange.

We lose 1.8 PPG and 1 RPG next year and bring in a 5 ppg center from William and Mary. Logic says we can't be any worse than this year, at least.

It shows Nottingham signed.

The kid from Converse just committed a week or two ago. I'm sure we don't have anyone actively updating our info on a site like that.

Shelby Adams. That website shows him committed to SHSU, but he flipped to us recently. Site just not updated.
