RE: NIT AQ's
Illinois State lost 2 games all year when healthy. 6 losses total, 17-1 in MVC, top 10 KenPom defense. They'll win a game if they make it.
I wasn't impressed with Akron. 14-4 in the MAC, no top 100 wins.
Texas-Arlington was good enough to win a tourney game or two earlier this season when they smoked Saint Mary's. But 14-4 in the Sun Belt and a 21-point loss tonight to a team close to 200 RPI shows they regressed, unfortunately, and no longer the same team.
Monmouth was robbed last year. They'd go toe-to-toe with a P5 in the tourney and be a coinflip for an upset.
Of the AQ's, I like Middle Tennessee, Wilmington, Nevada, Vermont, East Tennessee St, Winthrop, and Bucknell - in that order - for upset potential, depending on the matchup. New Mexico St I'd pick only if they got Florida St.
Texas Southern as a 16 could give a 1 a tight game.

RE: NIT AQ's
Princeton wins, and the NIT gets at most ten AQ's. I suspect it will get nine of them.
