South Carolina takes its church league hoops pretty seriously. I have seen the tapes on O’Neal and he’s a crafty defender with a very subtle forearm hand-check combined with the ability to step on the opponent’s shoe while boxing out. He banks most of his threes, but he typically does call the bank while the shot is in the air.

King just followed Coach Kemp back.

Saw that too. He has put on 20 lbs since starting his postgrad year at IMG Academy. Video is prior to his postgrad. Interesting that no commit announced after his Elon official. Don't know Elon's remaining schollie situation, but they are hurting for size on their roster. He appears to be a stretch 4 and not a post player. Late follow of Kemp may be continued interest on our part or he is simply trying to resurrect his options late in the game.

IMG's postgrad intersquad scrimmage from last Sept. Elias King is #20 on the gray team. I don't see a fit here.

I personally would love for us to bring in one more big, even if we have to redshirt him. the time with Nate, Andy and Harvey would be very good for him. Need to do that before they graduate. some one 6'9" or bigger. gives then yime to develop and put on weight and strength, if needed!!

Bringing in another big and redshirting him, or Wight as well, would be nice. Let them put on size and practice against our bigs for when we really need them- 2 seasons from now.

Unless injured, I don't see how anyone gets redshirted anymore in basketball (unless you are Duke, Kentucky, etc.)

Redshirting is dead. The grad transfer epidemic has killed it as a viable option.
