So first UTEP got a final shot they shouldnt have gotten then the time keeper didnt atart the clock until the guy shot the ball. Home town timekeeper "error".

Absolutely correct and that is what the call was. TV announcers are clueless because someone in the truck should have used lip-reading to see what the ref said to the coaches.

Clock was at least half a second late starting, so the tip didn't happen until after the game was over.

I really thought the Miners had that one

I know you UTEP fans are probably raw, I know I would be if it had gone the other way. I just want to say great game.

Nothing terrible about it because it was the right call, but you couldn't get that impression from listening to the TV announcers.

And I thought our game against FIU was a nail-biter ... ODU vs UTEP gives some perspective! Really glad it didn't come down to that type play for us too :O

The refs waived it off because of the timekeeper error. The clock didn't start until the UTEP guard had taken a dribble and was pulling up to shoot. Tough call for the Miners.

Were there this many timing issues before instant replay? I don't seem to remember it that way.

BTW good game UTEP. I thought my heart is gonna explode.

Watch the clock...It didn't start right away. We had several bad calls against us. The was off UTEP on last possession. These are the worst refs.
