We need them to get on a roll to help our RPI, which is 79.

Considering Tulane plays Houston 6 times, LSU twice, ULL twice, San Diego 3 times and ECU 3 times you figure they'll put it together eventually and start winning. I would guess that by season's end they'll be at worst in the top 150 but hopefully closer to 100

ULL, Xavier, and Tech are going to give us a nice boost in the coming weeks.

Two games with Ole Miss doesn't hurt either.

Still think it's too early to look at RPI, but yeah definitely a brutal start for them.

Their fans are already turning on the new coach.

Why they did not hire Cannizaro (or even Riser), I will never understand.

Probably thinks you can squeeze with the bases loaded as well.

The baseball equivalent of punting on Third Down.

Never change Tulane.

I think RTR was busting EagNBran's balls, who suggested that we try a squeeze play with the bases loaded in the 8th. I don't believe Tulane tried a squeeze with the bases loaded on Wednesday.

Ah, yep. Understood now.

Still, the way Tulane fans have been complaining on their boards about their new coach/AD it wouldn't surprise me if they did try it.

RE: Tulane thread
Their coach knows baseball and is a very quality coach. I think it's more of a culture shock to the players right now is there problem. He didn't recruit them and he's got a different personality than the previous guy. This year looks like it'll be a big disappointment for them. But you may look up in 2 years after he gets a lot of his guys in there and the players get accustomed to him, and people may think he's the second coming.

Hey, if it's a good bunt, it can work. I remember it working for Houston against us in the tournament one year, though I'll admit I'm not sure if the bases were loaded. It was just an idea! Haha!
