Yes, you read that right. Turner going into the soccer business after so many decades (people are too young to remember when that happened). Could this be spurred by Time Warner being bought out by AT&T? That is the only thought I have to explain this so far.

Sports rights continue to spiral out of control.

I worry about this since Turner doesn’t have a dedicated sports channel

Maybe they'd get their streaming up to speed by the time they get to air the games.

Keep in mind that the new deal also coincides with a new setup where games would start at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., as opposed to 2:45 p.m. this year.
