Simple assault. Much better than aggravated rape. I'll tell you what, I'll bet before this ever goes to trial she drops the charges. Nothing more than a boy-girl dust up. Happens every day.

It is your mentality why many young women on campuses are at danger. I am as conservative as it gets, but having had a daughter go through 4 years of college, I know the risks women are exposed to on campuses. I am assuming you don't have a daughter. I feel for her if you do.

Have a close friend whose daughter was attacked and raped on a date in college by a supposedly all american young man. Your'e probably not going to like this. But a rape not reported is a rape that never happened, especially to law enforcement. Think about it. A lot of the times the woman drops the charges, has nothing to do with guys like me. If they are in a relationship, they still have feelings for the guy. In fact I would dare say no District Attorney worth their salt would even take the case. Especially after the ridiculous cyber stalking charge. It's nothing more than conviction shopping, charging him with every thing under the sun in the hopes that something sticks. ODU went through something similar. In the second or third year of our program a wide receiver (pretty good player) was accused of rape. As I recall she either dropped the charges, or he was found innocent, I don't remember which was the case.

Wouldn't that point to it being "underblown" then? Let's work under the assumption that we all know how law enforcement works. Why, in your estimation, is it "overblown"?

If he didn’t do it I’m glad he got off. The text messages she sent about I’m going to try and ruin his life killed her credibility imo

He definitely still beat her up even if he didnt rape her (and I'm not saying he didnt just because he was found not guilty). Regardless of verdict hes a trash human being.

I ran into him briefly at Miami. Can confirm the above (re: the being not a great guy). Agree re the texts too.
