If the current CAA standings hold that's probably a best case scenario for W&M with Charleston and Towson facing off. They're the top two defensive teams in the conference. Elon then UNCW isn't easy but Elon's not great offensively and W&M can run their offense against UNCW.

Despite Towson's run here in the second half of conference play, we could easily see a 3 way tie for 3rd, or a tie between Elon and Towson. In either case. Elon would have the tie break, leaving us to have to go through Towson, Charleston and UNCW !!

So you're saying W&M should tank on Senior day to improve Towson's odds of getting the 3 seed?

I am surprised W&M is blowing out Delaware. With the exception of Towson, they have played teams very tough at home and have beaten half the teams in the CAA at their place.

Not that it matters right now since it likely won't happen, but a 3 way tie for 3rd would not favor Elon. I believe all 3 teams split with each other(assuming we beat Towson next weekend which we would have to do to get a tie for 3rd).

We won 82-58 in Kaplan. It's 82-59 right now.

Mal is just not the same player, on offense or defense. He really stepped to a different level in last year's tournament, but can't help but think we won't see his full recovery until next year.

Assuming W&M & Elon win out and Towson loses next week, I think Towson would be the 5 seed (0-2 vs UNCW), Elon is the 4 seed (1-1 vs UNCW, 0-2 vs Charleston), & W&M is the 3 seed (1-1 vs UNCW, 1-1 vs Charleston).

It's head to head first, is it not? Elon beat Towson twice, and split with us, so, their record would be a best 3-1.
