As long as it's in a reasonable travel distance, I don't care if the tournament takes place in a town of 2,000 people because I have like 14 basketball games to watch. If you go to all the games, Friday night is the only open night.

This is a nice thought, and it's how I used to think, but I don't think I can get my kids to sit through 14 basketball games. There better be other things I can do with them if I'm taking a week's vacation to go to the conference tournament.

I know a lot of folks bitched about it........ but I loved Hot Springs for the Sun Belt tourney. Wouldn't mind going back one day.

Have you been to one yet? SA got there's in 2015, I believe. I'm sure Houston was earlier and Dallas, being the headquarters, was probably 1st. Just glad EP is getting one and Birmingham too. One of these years I will make it to the tourney there and Top Golf would be a great place to spend some time.

Yeah, been to one in Houston a few times. Pretty cool. I took my German relatives also when they came to visit me, and they loved it. We'll probably return for another round when they come and visit me again in May.

If you check the link out it says the location is at the intersection of Cowan St and Jefferson St. Since I don't know Nashville at all, I don't know where that is but you probably do.

Interesting that the one in El Paso and Nashville will open around the same time. It seems like the Sun City is not that far behind from the major cities anymore.

Hilltopper fans should certainly have some good memories. Somewhere I think Mendez-Valdez just hit another "three"

It's down by the river near downtown.

Charlotte wouldn't be bad but they probably couldn't have it downtown with all that the arena has committed to during the months of February and March. It would have to be held at Bojangles Coliseum, which is a short cab/uber ride away from downtown.

Charlotte might be a great location for the CUSA tournament now. The ACC has blackballed the state of North Carolina from hosting the ACC tourney due to the ACC's politically correct stance on the state's controversial "bathroom bill" and how it affects transgendered weirdo's. So theoretically at least, CUSA would have the entire state of North Carolina to itself to host the conference BB tournament.

This may be a GREAT time to seize the opportunity.

Please....no more Birmingham, and no more El Paso.

Someone --ANYONE-- plueeeze tell me why hosting the CUSA BB tournament in downtown Charlotte is bad idea now? (please see comment above.)

Have the tourney in DFW (Frisco and Allen). Plenty of lodging, restaurants, things to do, and you can easily fly there.

You can draw fans from alumns who live in the area. From a quick Google search, many CUSA schools have alumni chapters in DFW.

You say it as if they're everywhere. I believe they only have like two or three dozen locations spread over 15-20 states
