The thing that gets me about all of these CUSA losses is that I'm firmly convinced in each case, that if we had the other teams players and they had ours we would still lose. College basketball is a coaches game and we have a crappy one.

So much for mincing words. I'm not going to call Rob a crappy coach but he has not had a good year. I'll make a determination on what type of coach I think he is after next season.

Why is dirk williams on the floor? What is he bringing to this team right now?

Pathetic performance. I think we lose 3 more games.

The drop off in performance from last year is approaching epic proportions...if it's not their already

Coach's fault we're down 25 to ODU at home. ODU has broken 80 a single time all year...against a coach who doesn't coach defense

Also you gotta look at the supporting staff. Haase had more solid assistant coaches surrounding him. Ehsan needs to go get a veteran coach in the offseason.

Flip side...well coached players don't whiff on fundamentals.

This team has been a head case all year. I challenge any coach to be able to coach these guys out of their funks.

I agree that Ehsan has done a poor job but I think personnel is also a big issue. The two recruiting classes since Ha Ha signed have been relatively weak. Dirk is average and Smallwood non existent. Neither Javean nor Darling are ready to be major contributors. There really is no comparison between the transfers Robert Brown and Lavender.

This years class seems to be improved but will they be ready to help elevate this team to the top of CUSA? We are desperate for back-court/perimeter talent.

Really need to get a road win streak going now to get a bye.

I won't be susprised if UTEP wins 6 of their final 7 games and ends up 12-6. Also won't be susprised if ODU ends up 12-6 or 11-7. We need to go 4-1 at a minimum and hope one of the two loses at least 2 games between now and the end of the season.
