It is either us or them this Saturday.

According to ESPN this game will officially burst the bubble for the losing team. I have been saeeing a lot of naysayers on Coogfans and the Den, but here we hold out hope that the Coogs can do the impossible. Go from a 9 win program to the NCAAs in one season. Come on fellas let's take care of UAB on Saturday. The Hof needs to be full and rocking.

Cougars need a big win
Tournament dreams will not die
Let's fill up Hofheinz

Eat 'em up Coogs!!!!

Wow, Mump. looks like you mostly post messages to yourself here. This joint is dead, dead dead. Looking for a good game Saturday. However, We have critical injuries that will likely make it impossible for UAB to win. Starting Center- Flu and Ankle and knee. Starting Forward-hip, 1st sub/twin B -broken foot. 2nd or 3 sub/3 point shooter-ankle. If Houston cant beat us up with those guys on the bench, then they are much less talented than it would appear.

I will try to post as often as possible. I believe i have see you at some of the games before, i recall you telling somebody on scout forums about bringing your family to the game and you described yourself. It was last year, and if you recall last year it was easy to pick somebody out of a crowd of 400 people. Anyway you and your family were sitting in front of me and my girlfriend last year. I'm a huge cougar supporter, have been to every home game this season. Hopefully i will be visiting the board more often now. And after we kick some blazer butt :chair: , we can all celebrate.

Well, if it wasn't us, I'd be pulling for the Coogs. We need this one for the tournament bye and the NCAA's. You're catching us at the right time injurywise, so you've got a great chance at home in Hofheinz. We'll see how it goes on the court.

Go Blazers!

Everything you said in that post applies to me as well. My only problem is that you need to come back to the Coog side. You were Cougar before you were a Blazer so we should get priority. :D

Wow!!! You and L-mac have both seen and you still post here. I must not be as hideous as I thought.

If you see me come on over and say "Whazzup!" and then we can yell like crazy for the Coogs!!!

To properly introduce yourself to the board coogdiehard, you have to type some Cougar High-Ku. :D

Remember the rule is 5-7-5. See up above if you need some examples.

Looking forward to it... both teams cause alot of turnovers and get alot of steals. UAB has all but locked up an NCAA record in leading the nation in steals for 3 consecutive years.

GO BLAZERS!!

It sounded like a good game over the radio, we had no TV for this game. Announcer said that this was the biggest crowd for UH hoops in two years. I'm glad to see the Cougar program going in the right direction again. I think that basically you guys are where we were a couple of years ago, in Coach Anderson's first season here. Give him a year or two to get his recruits in and his system in place and running, and we're going to have some epic battles. The two coaches are similar, and the high intensity defense and fast break game sure is fun to watch.

I was really proud of the Blazers. Given how banged up we were and playing on the road for all the marbles, I'm happy they came through when the chips were down. In particular Marques Lewis was awesome, a double-double while playing on one leg is stout.

I know you guys are hurting about the loss. I'm certainly not going to gloat about it. Instead, I look forward to a much improved UH team taking it's rightful place in college hoops. 'Bout damn time, says I.

Well, my guts hurt after listening to the game on the radio ( our station had technical difficulties the first 5 minutes of the game and no pregame show either so you can imagine how upset I was before I heard the first dribble). What an exciting game. We have lost 5 of those close ones this year so I know how you Cougs must feel. (We got beat by a buzzer beater against Southern Cal, and lost by a total of 5 points to Louisville, Charlotte, and Cincy combined if Im not mistaken, plus lost by 3 to ECU at home no less.) Im glad to see your program picking it up after Mccullum and CLydes disastrous years. I had mentioned that we were very beat up with injuries in an earlier post. During our game it also was announced that our guard ( #3) lost his mom on Friday before the game. He decided to fly down after being with her and join the team for the game. His clutch 3 and 4 straight free throws at the end of the game sealed the win for us.

I have kept up with UAB over the season with my sources. I knew once you guys got over losing Donell (I think that is the twin who is hurt) you would be fine. Anderson runs you guys about 10-12 deep so you just inserted another cog into the machine.

Congrats on your victory.
