Melania Trump's First Lady goal
Pretty much every First Lady since Nancy Reagan (and maybe even before that) has had a pet project that they have devoted much of their time in the White House. I was curious what Melania Trump's project was so I went to her web page on whitehouse.gov

It is as follows...

Mrs. Trump cares deeply about issues impacting women and children, and she has focused her platform as First Lady on the problem of cyber bullying among our youth.

So my question to her is maybe she should first work on her husband who clearly uses the Internet (primarily twitter) to cyber bully others?

Is she talking about cyber bulling, social media bullying of non Adults? Among Adults is is fair play, as long as it is legal.

There have been a number of well publicized cases of teen suicide brought on by cyber bullying. If this is her project, props to her.

But there will always be those who see this as an opportunity to score cheap points.

Bully protests are ok but children should absolutely be off limits. Hillary's child is still a baby so her and her invisible friends should be off limits as well.
Let's make it any child under 22.

I was hoping it was to get women to lose weight, get in shape and look hot.

I agree that cyber bullying is the biggest issue (we just had a teenager one county over who killed herself within the past month). But I'm not sure if social media bullying of adults is 'fair play' as you put it.

I was hoping a campaign to get more women to pose naked. If it's good enough for the first lady it's good enough for the rest of you!

Apparently the left's only principle is what helps the left win today.

RE: Melania Trump's First Lady goal
As the parent of two teen daughters, I eagerly look forward to see Mrs. Trump try to tackle this issue. I'll leave her husband out of it for now because I guess this was also talked about in November when she had a speech targeting cyber bullying. I don't believe her First Lady bio mentioned this topic when I read her bio earlier but perhaps it did.

But I do think it's fair to point out too that many people here ripped Michelle Obama for her school's healthy lunch program, and many of the comments were specifically geared towards her body weight saying she should start eating more healthy herself.

Were there really people calling Michelle Obama fat?

I thought mental illness was from "chemical imbalance"? The bully didn't alter that. The whole thing is bullschit. Kids are cruel, always have been, always will be. Turning suicide into a victimization will only cause more suicides. The finger pointing, news stories, and attention is exactly what the dead child wanted and the purpose of the act. Our boys just need to man the phuck up and our girls need present fathers.

That would be a much more attainable goal. Maybe turn them into women again instead of thoses beasts marching for free birth control.

Yea, the hypocrisy is off the charts here.

Wow... You must be the first person to make that observation...

I don't think I ever commented on her appearance so when I went after he student lunch program it was based on the merits of that program.

Because her healthy school lunch program pushed for a typical big gov one size fits all solution that left student athletes woefully fueled for their day.

When I ran CC/Track in hs I would eat two lunches and still be hungry. And I was not at all overweight.

True, but it can be mitigated. Some "parents" raise their children to be little assh0les because they themselves are degenerate assh0les.

You can't handle that with your kids as a parent? You need other people to handle it?

I of course handle it - and it's silly for you to even ask that. But I still want the First Lady to tackle the subject as well. And I'm not sure why anyone would want it any differently.
